Once you arrive at the Bandaranaike International Airport in Sri Lanka, you will be received by a Caravan representative and will be guided throughout the tour. Your tour starts at Negombo which is one of the famous fishing village in North Colombo. It is famous for a Dutch-built canal that runs along surrounded with a number of homes and where you can grab a glimpse of the spectacular sight of different species of birds including Kingfisher.
This quaint village offers diving opportunities from November to April. The next day you will be proceeding to the Muneeshwaram Temple, Chilaw. This place is of mythological importance and finds its space in the sacred Ramayana. Then you can visit the Mannavari Temple which has its origin at the hands of Lord Rama.
The next location is the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage, which is at approximately 55 miles from Colombo. You can have some leisure time here.
Then, you move on to Bandarawela, the next morning and on the way you can visit the Seetha Amman Temple, and Seetha Eliya. This place is famous for its mythological importance and even contains the footprints of Lord Hanuman. The next tourist spot is Divurumpola situated in Nuwara Eliya Welimada road.
The next day you can visit the Ravana Ella & Ravana Cave. The tunnels present inside the cave are breath taking and it proves the architectural brilliance of the King Ravana. Then, you can move on to Ussangoda, Rumasela, Seenigama Temple, Hikkaduwa, and Panchamuga Anjaneyar Temple each famous for its mythological prominence in the Holy Ramayana.
On the last day you will be taken for a tour around Colombo where you can visit the tree-lined residential, Cinnamon Gardens, & Fort, the former British administrative center and military garrison, Sea Street – the Goldsmith’s quarters in the heart of Pettah, the Bazaar area, where there is a Hindu Temple with elaborate stone carvings, and the Dutch Church of Wolfendhal.
